This privacy policy applies to the mobile application SPT - Simple Package Tracker (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"). It is designed with a fundamental focus on user privacy and local device security.

Local Privacy Commitment: SPT does not store tracking numbers, package details, or personal data on external servers. All information remains under your exclusive control inside your local mobile device.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects and processes information strictly necessary to fulfill its tracking features:

Tracking Data: Saved locally within your device's database to access official carrier shipment tracking pages. This is never collected, viewed, or stored by the developer.
Device Information & Diagnostics: Technical data (device model, OS version, unique identifiers) is processed. Crash logs and performance diagnostics may be collected via third-party services (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics) to ensure stability.

2. Data Retention

Your tracking data is retained locally on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete it within the app or uninstall the Application.

3. Device Permissions Required

CAMERA: Optional, used exclusively to scan barcodes/QR codes on shipping labels.
STORAGE & MEDIA: Required to import previously exported backup files (e.g., SPT_BACKUP_*.json or spt_backup_*.json) or scan images.
INTERNET & NETWORK STATE: Necessary to query real-time status from carriers, load ads, and validate subscriptions.
IN-APP BILLING: Allows secure processing of integrated purchases via Google Play Billing.
ADVERTISING ID (AD_ID): Utilized by Google AdMob for analytics, frequency capping, and ad monetization.

4. Third-Party Services & GDPR/CCPA Compliance

We use external service providers that process data according to their own policies. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or California, specific privacy regulations apply (GDPR/CCPA). You will be presented with a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog regarding personalized ads. You have the right to opt-out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

Google Play Services: Core infrastructure for Android.
Google AdMob: Ad network. Processes AD_ID to serve ads based on user consent/settings.
Google Play Billing: Handles secure payments natively.
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports and diagnostic data to improve app stability.

5. Carrier Trademark Disclaimer

SPT is an independent utility tool. All company names, trademarks™, registered® trademarks, and logos of delivery carriers belong exclusively to their respective holders. Use does not imply any official affiliation.

6. Security and Backups

Security depends on your device. We recommend keeping your OS updated. You are responsible for safely storing exported local backup files.

7. Children's Privacy

These services do not address anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. "Do Not Track" Signals

The Application does not track users over time and across third-party websites; however, third-party ad networks may process Do Not Track (DNT) signals according to their own policies.
